What are the healthest and unhealthiest foods you can eat? Also any good recipes for healthy meals?

HEALTHY FOODS

Healthy:





walnuts, avocados, wild salmon, whole grain, spinach, kale, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, red wine, pomegranate juice, no preservatives, low salt, olive or canola oil, poached, grilled, steamed, vinaigrette dressing, unprocessed, whole fruits





Unhealthy:





Fast food, french fries, fried food, high fat, processed, high fructose corn syrup, coconut oil, saturated fat, high sodium, trans fat, white bread, hot dogs, bologna, breaded, gravy, super size portions, pop, potato chips, candy bars, twinkies, doughnutsWhat are the healthest and unhealthiest foods you can eat? unhealthy foods - oreos.
Healthiest foods are raw foods I think, fruits and veggies, they do the body best.





Unhealthiest is sugar, in small amount it's fine, but it's everywhere now and everything is loaded with it, and the more you eat the more you crave, it's just not good.





Otherwise, to make healthy meals, add more fruits and veggies, and whole grains(whole wheat bread or pasta instead of regular white bread and pasta), sweet potatoes are amazing, nutritious and low carb, not to mention they taste great(thus the sweet in the name I guess heh). Brown rice, granola cereals, bran muffins mmmm(find a good quality baker and they should have some great tasting ones).





I find personally it's less about healthy recipes and more about healthy choices for those recipes.
Any food can be unhealthy if you eat too much of it.
Unhealthy- anything with alot of chemicals, unnatural ingredients, refined carbs (white bread, sugar), hydrogenated oils (trans fat).





Healthy- whole grains, veggies, fruits, lean meat, legumes, healthy fats like olive oil.
my health education proffessor told me that oreo's are the unhealthiest food you can eat b/c they contain so many artificial ingredients and hydrogenated oils. I think twinkies are alos unhealthy because of the 39 unhealthy ingredients. There is actually a book on the 39 ingredients used to make a twinkie (some of it is shocking). They healthiest food you can eat is cranberries in my opinion because they contain so many antioxidants, which are good for overall health and skin.
